Last night, Brinson again got cold and had some greenish residuals on her feeds. Cold temp and green residual (slow gut) can mean infection. So, they made a decision to do a full workup on her.
She is also back under a warmer, sitting at 40% O2 and getting 2 different antibiotics.
One possibility is, since she is not acting sick, it could be Brinson not tolerating the breast milk feeds and they may have to change to formula.
The good news is whatever it is, we caught it early.

Poor Brinson is struggling to do everything she's supposed to be doing. We'll say specific prayers that she doesn't have an infection, that she digests her food properly and that she stays warm. You guys are always in our thoughts and prayers.

I ECHO KIM AND STEPHEN (AND ZACHARY'S) PRAYERS. I FEEL LIKE I KNOW THE BALDWINS AND NOAH'S FAMILY THRU YOU. IT IS JUST BEAUTIFUL THAT EACH OF YOU CAN DRAW FROM ONE ANOTHER. ONLY THEY CAN TRULY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE GOING THRU. ALL WE CAN DO IS PRAY HARD, AND WE DO FREQUENTLY!

I am glad you have so many folks that love you and Brinson... she and you are in my thoughts. All the NC contingent are praying. She will get settled down this week. She has had these ups and downs before. She is just testing us all... but she will be WELL...
