Daddy bought Brinson her first tricycle about a month ago. He's been showing her little by little how to ride it, but she needs practice. This pic would've been taken outside, but the mosquitos are so bad they're swarming.

Happy 4th of July!

This year we are having a fairly quiet celebration...no fireworks, it's been raining. Brinson is spending the day/night with Nana and Grampa. Ned played golf this morning with his brother. When he came home, we went and bought a hot tub. LOL! I'm so excited. It takes about 3 weeks or so for it to come in, but we are not in any hurry. I'm assuming it will be here and ready to go when Brinson and I get back from Indiana in August. (What a month to start using a hot tub rofl). Brinson loves Nana's and Grampa's hot tub. They are taking her in it when she goes to visit. I'll get my pool one of these days, but am very happy with what we got today. Hope all have a great holiday!

Our first big ouchie

So, here we were this morning, getting ready to leave the house for Kindermusik. I heard a thud, then crying so I flew out of the kitchen to see what was wrong. I picked B up and saw blood...alot of blood. After checking her teeth to make sure she hadn't lost any, then the inside of her mouth, I saw the gash in her lip and an abrasion on her chin. Scared the crap outta me lol. Apparently she fell and hit her mouth on the corner of a huge plastic tote. Thank God she recovered quickly, but we missed out on Kindermusik this week. :( I tried putting ice on her lip....yeah that went well.

This video is now my all-time favorite. I absolutely loooooove it. She had been chattering before bathtime, so I stood right out of her view and she began singing. She started it all on her own, and I have no idea what song it is. Maybe one she made up?

Garage Sale!

The Garage sale this weekend was a success. I made $350 and Grammy made $100. I was saving to get an iPad, however, Ned said he would pay the difference. I guess he saw how hard we worked. He's such a sweetheart. He and Grandfather took turns watching Brinson while Grammy and I wheeled and dealed. It was HOT!!!!! We got the brunt of business on Friday, instead of Saturday which was very suprising. Only two items we know of were stolen, a $2 watch and a drill. Oh yeah, and one of our garage sale signs we had posted on the road was taken. The gall of some people.

On a separate note, B had her audiogram (hearing test) on Friday and passed with flying colors. I was so relieved. I'll be posting some great videos of her tomorrow, I am just absolutely knackered and am ready for bed.
