B's Birthday Bash!!

We had gorgeous weather today for B's birthday party! It was so awesome getting to see people we haven't in a long time. As I'm typing this entry I am trying not to fall asleep....omg we are all just wiped out. Kim made a funny comment this afternoon after everyone had left, "I wonder who's more tired....us or the kids?" No kidding right?!? As always Ned will be posting more pics later. Irony at it's best...I have the crappier camera of the two but I post quickly. Ned has the better camera but it takes him FOREVER to post! JK..Luv u honey!

Okay, so I've posted...I'm dragging my butt to bed. A big thanks to everyone who came to the party today. We are so blessed to have such great family and friends. It's amazing to see how far we've come in 2 years. Thank you for sharing in this wonderful celebration!!

Birthday girl!!!!

Ok, so you will not believe this, but I swear it happened. Brinson woke up this morning and I went in her room to get her. When I picked her up out of the crib I looked at her clock and it said 7:24am. (That's the time she was born) How weird is that?!?

We had a very busy day getting ready for her party tomorrow. Time sure flies...I cannot believe she is 2 years old already! It felt like just yesterday that she was so tiny in the NICU.
Brinson attempted to help us get ready for the party.....that was fun.
I managed to get a pic and video in the morning. before the mayhem ensued.

Remembering our angel Cooper

Today would have been Cooper's 2nd birthday. I have thought all day about him and about what I would write today. I have cried countless times throughout the morning and early afternoon, and just really immersed myself in outside activities. I'd like to share a couple of poems, some pics, and even a couple videos. We were all busy today, intentionally. It just feels like yesterday that we lost him, even though I know it's been two years. I wonder if it ever gets any better??
I bought something special for myself today in memory of him. When I get it, I'll post pics.

Learning to walk

Brinson is trying so hard to walk. She is very very close to walking. We are so proud of her.

What we have failed to capture up to this point is her trying to stand up from the ground with nothing around her. Meme has seen this happen twice.
