Today we headed out I-10 up to Weimar, Tx to join The Brinson Fan Club at Christmas On The Farm. After over a year and a half of waiting, she finally got to meet her fans. Those of you who have faithfully kept up with this blog will know who they are and how dedicated they've been. It really warmed my heart to watch them see her in person for the first time. B was a little grumpy as she had no nap on the way up there.
And then.....there was the Santa picture. Let me just say that Brinson screamed and cried more in those 5 minutes than I've seen her do in a long time. LOL! So watch your mail for an entertaining Christmas card this year.
As I was going thru my pictures tonite, I realized I had been so busy visiting that I didn't take very many. Ned has more on his camera so I know there will be another post in the near future with better pics. Also I didn't catch everyone in pictures, I think Ned did. We are so grateful to TBFC and they have a very special place in our hearts.
P.S. Yes, she was asleep before we left the parking lot. ;)
On a sad note, please send prayers to The Baldwin Family. They are going through a personal tragedy and need lots of prayers. We love you Kim.

Tickle tickle!
Brinson loves to be tickled by Daddy. We took this after bathtime tonight. Note the wonderful cough towards the end. She's had it for over 3 weeks, has seen the doc twice for it, and we are just doing breathing treatments. Her lungs sound clear, so I'm not sure why it's still lingering. It's just wait and see apparently.
Happy Turkey Day!
We had a wonderful get-together with family today. Thanksgiving was pretty low key this year. The turkey was awesome and we watched "Four Christmases" after dinner. If you haven't seen it, do. It was hysterical.
We are thankful for so many things this year, having Brinson with us and healthy being at the top of the list. She is the most beautiful gift and I can't imagine our lives without her. We are also thankful for the great family and friends we have. Hope everyone had a great day. God bless.
"Oh, is the turkey ready?!?"

Taking advantage
This is the only time we can look in her mouth....lol. She's got a new tooth coming in on bottom. The discoloration was caused by the meds given in the NICU. It is only on the top of the teeth. The dentist was hopeful that her permanent teeth will be fine. Considering what she's gone thru, discolored teeth is no big thing at all.

Reminiscing
Brinson had to get her first set of Synagis shots today. Poor baby. :( We battled the traffic to get INTO town at NOON....boy was it crazy! We decided to go have lunch and gear up for the trip home. We stopped at Southwell's which is one of the restaurants we ate at many times while Brinson was in the NICU. It was really neat to be able to sit in there with her at our side. Definitely something to be thankful for this holiday.
This was taken with my phone so the quality isn't that great.

Hurricane Brinson
She blows thru the house daily. Note the sick daddy in the recliner. Ned got diagnosed with the flu today. He's pretty puny and feeling miserable. Thank God it's not the swine flu since B has not got her vaccine yet. I got mine today and she gets hers tomorrow. She's still coughing and so we are going to see Dr. Rossell tomorrow.
Go figure, he's the one who's the healthiest of all, but when he gets sick..he gettttttttttts sick!!! Wonder if the week long trip to Cali had anything to do with it??!?!?!
