More Bath Fun

April Fool's Day

Tonight before B's bath, I thought it would be cute to get her nekkid and let her practice walking. We made a trip to our bedroom to see Daddy (very short trip). Brinson decided to give us a great big April Fool's Day gift....she peed all over the floor in the bathroom. I laughed so hard. I had JUST taken off her diaper, no kidding, like 1 minute before. It surprised us and I think surprised her more! I got some cute videos of her in the tub tonite, and will post them tomorrow. I'm exhausted today for some reason.
B saw the ENT today. All's clear. Her ears showed no signs of infection, and we will go back to see Dr. "O" in 3 months, of course, unless she starts having more ear issues. Brinson looooves the ENT. She was just smiling and chattering away with her. It was really cute!
We have also decided to go ahead and do a swallow study to hopefully rule out any abnormalities. OT, Speech Therapy, and the developmental doc recommended it. The ENT agreed. That will be done in May.

Backyard picnic

Brinson had her first backyard picnic today. She had alot of fun, and Mommy had alot of cleaning up afterwards. She was wiped out and took a 3 hour nap when we came inside.

And the azaleas are budding and blooming! Thought I'd get some picture action with Brinson! Turned out to be pretty funny..... she tolerated me for a bit.

Grandfather's chicken coop

Grandfather and Grandma have some land in the "country" so we went to visit them on this past weekend. Man the weather was gorgeous. Grandfather is building a chicken coop and is going to let Brinson pick out her own chick to take care of. We wanted to check out the progress, and take a little drive.

Lunch at Cracker Barrel

After running around Houston today, we stopped at Cracker Barrel for lunch. Brinson loves their chicken and dumplings and grilled cheese! Nana met us there afterwards. Then we all came back to the house and enjoyed the rest of the sunny day. (I mowed, lol)

Kindermusik

Today was Brinson's first Kindermusik experience. She had a great time interacting and singing with everyone. I discovered just how bad of shape I'm in today also....lol We did alot of singing, jumping and walking in circles. Then more skipping in circles...etc. I didn't get any "action" pictures. Meme was with me but I think she was too busy laughing to take pics.

On a side note, we attempted twice this week to go to the zoo. First was Weds, you know, the day we were supposed to have a 30% chance of rain but it poured all day? Then we made a second attempt today after Kindermusik. Apparently most of Houston had the same idea. We drove through 3 different parking lots for about 20 minutes looking for a spot. No luck. It was a mess.

Meme leaves to go back to Indiana tomorrow. We will all miss her alot. She's such a huge help to us when she's here, and Brinson just loves her to death. I'm not going to know what to do with myself without her here. Brinson is gonna have to take care of me. :(
