Playing on her own

Lately Brinson will just ramble on and on. She is practicing for one day what comes out will make sense to us. So far it is just a lot gobble goop and we love every minute of it.

Out in the sun

It was a nice sunny day today so we went out in the backyard for a bit. Brinson still doesn't like sunlight too much, but she enjoyed looking at everything. Daddy will post videos later.

And yes, I believe those are boy's tennis shoes.....They were so cute I couldn't resist!

Happy Turkey Day +1

I thought I'd be different and post a day after Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for this year. We are blessed with a beautiful daughter and a brave son who we got to spend a precious few hours with. While I know Cooper is in heaven, this holiday season I find myself tearing up often thinking about him. Brinson and I talk about him alot and I think she knows he is with her in spirit. I can't tell you how many times I've come into a room and she's just staring up at the ceiling talkin and smiling away.
Thank you to all of you who have been praying and supporting us through this journey this year. Thanks to our wonderful family and friends. Many thanks to all the doctors and nurses who have helped our babies in one way or another. And most of all, thanks to Brinson, for gracing us with her presence, for every smile and laugh,and to God for leaving her here with us.

Visit with Dr. Gottesman

On Tuesday, Mommy had a big day. One of her stops was to see the doctor who delivered Brinson.

BTW we also saw Brooke and Matthew with their new son Levi. If you don't remember Brooke, please read this post. She is very special to us.

Mommy and Brinson sleep it off

This was pretty funny and sweet at the same time. Mommy and Brinson catching some Zzzzz's. The funny part is Mommy was snoring just a bit and would wake up Brinson. Then Mommy would stop and Brinson would fall back asleep.

We don't know what tickles Brinson so much, but Mommy is very good at keeping it going.
