More bluebonnet pictures

Brinson in the bluebonnets (suprise!)

We decided to make the road trip to Columbus for the bluebonnets! It was a nice drive. Meme and Pappy came along also. We were a little worried because most of the way there were very few patches of flowers. When we reached Mr. Holland's property (hope I got that right), we were very pleased with the huge area of bluebonnets he has. Brinson, however, was not thrilled with the sun. We had a hard time getting her to look up. She was also just enamored with the pretty blue flowers.
We're sorry we missed TBFC. Apparently they were going to do a photo shoot, but I'm not sure if we got there before or after them. We are talking about doing a day trip up to Bastrop/Buescher next Saturday. We need to get B out more!

Tellin it like it is!

Ned and I were just discussing yesterday the fact that B hasn't really been "saying much lately". Then last night, she started this after dinner. Pardon the "loogie cough" in the middle, I think it's funny!

No Bluebonnets yet

Daddy went out bluebonnet scouting this morning and apparently there aren't any yet :( So we will try again in a week or two. Meme is going to help Mommy TRY to start a garden....oh stop rolling your eyes! I'm excited and just hope I can keep it tended.
We just found out that Grandfather will be coming home from Trinidad on Tuesday! I know Brinson will be happy to see him!!

Peep Peep!

Brinson is always laughing at her Meme. She's good entertainment! :) We are going to try to do Bluebonnet pictures tomorrow. We are taking advantage of good weekend weather (hopefully). I say "try" because things don't always go as planned....haha!

Playing in the grass

Yesterday evening I got home before dark which is a lot easier these days with the time change.
Because of this Brinson and I got to play in the grass. She loved it! And as a matter of fact she complained when I brought her back inside.

Passed Out

I was in the kitchen with Meme and Brinson had been playing. Then, she got quiet. This is how I found her...fast asleep!!!!
