It is a really nice break for Daddy. I am off till January 5th. I think Mommy will be ready for me to get back to work very soon....I better enjoy it while it lasts.
So I have been experimenting with my new camera (Thanks Lisa) while taking pictures of the family.
Sippee cup time!
It is so cute to watch her....the exersaucer is bit to big, but she will grow into it.
Look at the big girl playing with her toy all by herself!
Brinson's new favorite word.....well sound. She also likes to do it while she is feeding....oh what fun it is to be a dad! ;)

Mugshot (or Brinson with specs)
Last night Miss B got new glasses. While I hate the fact she has to wear them, it is so heartwarming to see her look straight at you when you're across the room and call her name. We thought at the beginning it was goin to be a breeze, we are finding out differently now. She knows exactly how to pull them off so it's a constant battle for now.
See how excited Brinson is about her new glasses?

The Baldwins stop by
Kim, Stephen and Zachary were coming back into town from visiting relatives in the country so they stopped by to see us. This was the first time Brinson and Zachary had ever seen each other in person (other than they were across the pod from us in the NICU when she was first born). It was so cool to see them interact. The Baldwins will be joining us on New Year's Eve so it will be good to get to see them again.
Look how I'm looking down at Zachary and Brinson's looking up at Kim!

Spoonman...er Spoonbaby?
Brinson has just started to get wild with the arms and legs. I think she has finally found them and by gosh she is going to use them. Bath time is even funnier than ever. I get all wet and she is flailing around like to trying to swim up the English Channel with no wetsuit.
Enjoy all the spoonage!
Coughing and Peas
Babies are weird creatures. Weird...why? Well just watch the video, they do the strangest things....it must just be part of development. Hope you get a chuckle, I know we did.

Prayers needed for Kayleigh and her family
It is with great sadness in my heart that I am writing this entry. There are many others going through the NICU experience as we did. One of those is Kayleigh Freeman and her family.
Her blog can be found on our list over there ------------>.
I've been following it since we've been home, and have seen their ups and downs. It appears that Kayleigh is not expected to live now. Her body has taken all it can and the doctors have told the family what is coming. I ask that you please pray for all 3 of them. It was a really emotional morning for me to read the last entry. I know she's going to a better place and that she will have James, Peyton, Justin, Jacob and Cooper....waiting to play with her in Heaven.
Lots of love to you Freeman family. My heart goes out to you.
